A Local Fiber Project

I learned about the Kickstarter (crowdfunding) project described below because Pat contacted me in search of Coopworth wool to supplement what she had sourced within 100 miles of her home in Southern Indiana.  I was able to supply her with additional raw fleeces and thereby become a participant in this great project idea!

In Pat’s words: “This proposal will use locally produced wool from breed-specific sheep (from local small farms) and process it into fabulous yarn.”

Learn more about her local fiber project here:  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/farmyarns/farm-yarns-breed-specific-wool-spun-into-unique-ya and please share it with your fellow fiber fans.

Pat sent me this picture of one of my Coopworth fleeces that she had just washed and laid out to dry.
